No, Pro Tutoring is an entirely online organization that has been teaching using Google Meet and Zoom for over four years. We have found that the online modality offers a large amount of benefits from the comfort of your own home. Not only are online classes flexible, but they eliminate the need for any driving. We are also not bound by location, so we are far less likely to miss classes. Furthermore, online instruction allows us to be available to help your child whenever they might need it. In case you are unsure about online classes, we offer a free trial lesson for anyone that is thinking about becoming a part of Pro Tutoring!

Of course we can! An important part of Pro Tutoring is that we are always there for our students whenever they may need us. If your child is having trouble on a day that we do not have a scheduled class, please text or call us immediately! During our first availability, we will happily call you back and explain the difficult topic or problem. If the confusion can be remedied in under 30 minutes and requires no Zoom or Google meeting, it will be entirely free! When you become part of the Pro Tutoring family, we will always be there to help you and your kids succeed in any way that we can. 

All of our teachers are experienced and trained educators who have been tutoring for many years. Each hired instructor is put through a professional tutoring training course that prepares them to ensure your child's success. On top of the training and experience, all of our tutors are college educated or in the process of becoming college educated. We only employ passionate and professional individuals who care deeply about the success of their students, for "Nobody does it like a Pro!"

The majority of our classes are private, because we want to ensure that your student's specific goals are met. We have found that pairing individualization with professional instruction creates the highest potentiality for each student's success. However, we do offer group classes for standardized test preparation, as keeping the groups small still allows our incredible instructors to identify and repair each child's academic weaknesses. Many students also thrive in the social environment of group classes, which means that they will learn and perform better on the upcoming test.

Although Pro Tutoring is not certified in any kinds of specialized instruction, we offer assistance to many students of different levels. We have worked with students that have a variety of intellectual disabilities and have achieved excellent results. However, if your student requires a specialist, we suggest that you contact an organization that works specifically with students that have learning disabilities.

We cannot guarantee any assistance with a subject that is not currently on our website. However, we work hard to find and train excellent instructors that teach a variety of topics. If you need help with something that is not currently offered, please contact us with your request, and we will work tirelessly to find and train a professional that can help meet your needs. There is nothing more important to us than helping all of our clients in every way that we can. 

Absolutely! We are mainly asked to help students in the K-12 range, but we also have many adult clients and college students that want to learn English or increase their Philosophical understanding. If you are an adult, and you think there is something we can do for you, please contact us, and one of our experts will instantly be assigned to make sure that your goals are met. One should not stop learning simply because they are no longer in grade school. Knowledge is the most powerful thing on Earth!

The most important aspect of academic success is engagement. If a student is interested, then they will want to learn and will spend much of their free time improving in their subject of interest. Therefore, all Pro Tutoring instructors have been taught to engage students with a love of learning. If learning isn't fun, then you are doing it wrong! We will make sure that your student is enjoying our lessons, and we will do our best to interest them in school. We can ensure that they love their Pro Tutoring classes, but we cannot promise that they will love their school classes. Sometimes, a student is paired with a teacher they greatly dislike, and we cannot change that. That said, we will do everything in our power to show your child just how fun learning and studying can be.

A very important part of our business model is the biweekly parental check-in. It is vital that you know the exact progress that your child is making in our classes. So, we will be contacting you every two weeks with an update on your child's progress. This consistent communication allows us to work together to make sure that results are being achieved. If we notice that your student's effort or grades have decreased, we will instantly contact you to create a plan for improvement. At Pro Tutoring, we are a family that works closely with our students and their parents to make sure that they achieve their goals. Every child deserves to follow their dreams, and we want nothing more than to help them do so.

Our lessons are typically one hour long. However, there are times when a student requires a shorter or longer lesson. That is entirely okay as long as it is scheduled in advance with your tutor. Please let us know if you would like a lesson with a different length than one hour, and we will adjust the lesson price accordingly. It is our job to help you in the best way that we can, and we are flexible to meet that end. 

When you contact us to sign up for our classes, we will assign you a tutor based on your specific goals and needs. Afterwards, you will be working entirely with your respective tutor. You will schedule lessons with them based on mutual availability, and your tutor will be flexible to move lesson times as long as there is a 24-hour notice. If any classes are canceled within 24 hours (emergencies excluded), you will be charged full price for the lesson. This policy is to ensure that students are motivated to attend classes, communication is held to a high standard, and our tutors' time is respected. 

It is very important to us that you are happy with our services. If a tutor is not fulfilling your needs, we ask that you contact us and explain why you are not pleased with your assigned tutor. Our first response will be to speak with your instructor and ask them to implement the necessary changes. If you see no improvement after the first grievance, please call us again, and we will instantly assign you a different tutor. It is our intention that every client is satisfied with our instruction, and we will do everything in our power to make sure that your goals and needs are met.  

The answer to this question greatly varies based on your child's abilities and goals. For tutoring classes, we need to understand the baseline level of your student, and how much improvement you'd like them to have. Only then can we provide a number for the amount of weekly classes your child needs. For standardized testing, the amount of weekly classes will depend on the amount of sections on the exam. For instance, the SAT has a math and English section, so each student must have both a math and English lesson each week. For college admissions, the timing and package choice will decide how many times a week we need to meet. Please contact us for an exact answer of how many weekly lessons we suggest based on your specific needs.
